More than a year has passed since we started serving customers with our Jitterbug phones and service. It's been a gratifying experience. Hearing from many new customers about their pleasure using our service has been a continuing source of delight and encouragement.

The year hasn't been without difficulties. Besides the inevitable pains of growing a vibrant new business, many of our people were ordered to evacuate their homes during the San Diego fires. Not many events can highlight the value of personal communications service better than the recent fires. Because many were displaced, and our headquarters and one of our primary customer support offices were in the evacuation area, our team relied heavily on cellular service to coordinate their movement with other friends and loved ones as the whole San Diego community sank into disruption. Story after story can be told about the benefits that cellular phones brought to, in some cases, very desperate situations. We're blessed that none of our people suffered losses during the tragedy. Cellular service was reliable and essential to keep them safe and connected.

During this recent holiday season, Jitterbug has been the perfect gift for thousands of loved ones who may never have had a cellular phone or who may just be suffering from the feature fatigue that so many experience.
